Zana Fraillon: The Curiosities

In Episode 21 of the Writers off the Page podcast, multi-award winning children's author Zana Fraillon talks about her latest picture book, The Curiosities, her epic writing space and how she never writes in chronological order.

Zana Fraillon is an internationally acclaimed, multi-award-winning author of books for children and young adults, among them The Bone Sparrow and The Lost Soul Atlas. Her work has been published in over 15 countries and is in development for both stage and screen.


Zana’s latest book is The Curiosities, a picture book celebrating disability, diversity and pride in who you are. It was inspired by Zana's child Mani, who was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome when she was five years old.
